Pastor Chad made a profession of faith when he was about four or five years old. At the age of about 13, he realized that he had never truly been convicted or repented of his sin. During a revival preached by Bro. Dave McCracken, Pastor Chad received Christ as his personal Savior. After graduating high school, he accepted a scholarship from Arizona State University and was on track towards a life as a mechanical engineer. Between the freshman and sophomore year at ASU, however, God changed Pastor Chad’s plans. Shortly after serving as a counselor at a week of Silver State Baptist Youth Camp where Bro. Park Sutton was preaching, God called him to attend Heartland Baptist Bible College.
During the Summer between his Junior and Senior year at Heartland, Pastor Chad interned at Valley Avenue Baptist Church. After he graduated a year later, he came on staff as a ministry intern, intending to going back to Heartland in the Fall for a Master’s degree. However, throughout the Summer, God once again changed Pastor Chad’s plans and directed him to stay on staff at Valley Avenue Baptist Church as the Assistant Pastor to Pastor Ben Moore in July of 2016. He married his wife, Chelsea, on April 22nd, 2017.
In December of 2022, Western Hills Baptist Church in Glendale, AZ called Pastor Ben Moore to be their next Pastor. Valley Avenue Baptist Church called Pastor Chad as their next pastor on January 8, 2023.
